- In the verbal inspiration of the Bible:

• 2 Timothy 3:16-17 – "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

• 2 Peter 1:21 – "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

- In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost:

• Matthew 28:19 – "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

• 2 Corinthians 13:14 – "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen."

• John 10:30 – "I and my Father are one."

- That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor:

• John 3:16 – "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

• Matthew 1:18-25 – (Birth of Jesus) "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost..."

• Luke 24:46-47 – "And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."

• Romans 8:34 – "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."

- That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ:

• Romans 3:23 – "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

• Acts 2:38 – "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

• Romans 5:9 – "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."

• John 3:3 – "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

- In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost:

• 1 Thessalonians 4:3 – "For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication."

• Hebrews 13:12 – "Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate."

• John 17:17 – "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."

- Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people:

• 1 Peter 1:15-16 – "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy."

• Hebrews 12:14 – "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord."

- In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart:

• Acts 1:8 – "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

• Acts 2:4 – "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

• Luke 11:13 – "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?"

- In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Ghost:

• Acts 2:4 – "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

• Acts 10:44-46 – "While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word... For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God."

- In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

• Matthew 28:19 – "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

• Acts 2:38 – "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

• Romans 6:4 – "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."

- Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement:

• Isaiah 53:5 – "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

• 1 Peter 2:24 – "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."

- In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet:

• Luke 22:19-20 – "And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me."

• John 13:14-15 – "If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you."

- In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years:

• 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 – "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

• Revelation 20:4-6 – "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them... and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

- In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked:

• John 5:28-29 – "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation."

• Revelation 20:12-15 – "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."
