Josiah & Kaitlyn Keefer

Music Pastor

Josiah Keefer became part of RCC in December 2008 sharing his musical talents through choir and worship band. He assumed the role of Worship Pastor in March 2012. Josiah spent his teenage years training in classical piano and voice while developing his ability to play the saxophone and guitar. Josiah’s dedication to musical development led the way to his selection to perform with the largest faith-based live theatre in the country. He spent an extended time at Sight & Sound Theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, as a lead vocalist and piano performer in the production of “The Psalms of David.” In addition to his love for music, Josiah has a passion for early American history and has spent time studying the people behind the principles on which our nation was founded. Josiah adheres to the belief that an intimate relationship with God is fundamental in the life of the believer. With that, he feels that worship music prepares the heart for an intimate encounter with God where such intimacy is fostered and lives are changed.

Because of this, they know that working with parents to cement a foundation in Christ is the most important role in their ministry. They want Ignite Youth to be a place where teens feel comfortable, secure, and where they can receive all the benefits of being followers of Christ. In 2011-12 Roy and Lauren attended the intensive Ministerial Internship Program through the COG and Roy became an Ordained Minister in November of 2012.
